COMPARISON BETWEEN DIAMOND BLADES FOR CUTTING GRES-PORCELAIN TILES

There are a lot of tiling tools on the market that fill display units in shops and hardware stores.
Therefore it is difficult for everyone, including the professional tile layer, to recognize and purchase the right product that meets their needs.
Often the final choice falls on the product that costs less.

However – how can you be sure that you have made the correct choice?

Where price differences occur between products it is most probable that the cheaper product reflects a less quality build.
An example can be seen in the video clip, where two diamond blades are compared for cutting ceramic tiles and porcelain stoneware.
The first diamond blade is on the market at 8 euro’s, and is sold as “super-professional ceramic disc”, but after only a few centimeters of use it chipped the tile “burn literally” losing all cutting functions.
The second one is the professional diamond blade for ceramic, manufactured by Montolit. This blade is of the ‘economic line’ – model no. Art CSE – with a price of 24.50 euro’s.
As you can see it cuts the ceramic tile quickly, cleanly and precisely, without any difficulty.

Both discs are sold as “Professional blades for tiles”
