Flash line 3, Montolit R-evolution cutting machine for gauged porcelain tile panels

Brevetti Montolit rewrites history: after introducing the first equipment for processing large ceramic slabs, it presents FL3, the third generation manual cutting system for all extra large sizes (from 0 to 340 cm).

The new tile cutter for gauged porcelain tile panels, created in collaboration with the Politecnico di Milano, consists of an engraving trolley, modular rails and separating pliers, all contained in a practical and sturdy cordura bag.

FL3, the new machine for cutting gauged porcelain tile panels by Montolit features a slider trolley made of die-cast aluminum that slides on the guide bar by means of three anti-friction wheels. Furthermore, it is essential to explain in detail the true innovative heart of the machine: Revolution 3WD, that is to say the loader that supports the engraving wheels.

In the cutting machine for gauged porcelain tile panels, the loader is a polygon made of aluminum alloy of aeronautical derivation which has three wheels of different diameters: 8, 12 and 20 mm, all with titanium surface treatment to ensure greater smoothness and duration. The operator can thus select the most suitable wheel for the work to be done with a simple rotation of the support without the aid of specific equipment.

Thanks to the three engravers in this new FL3 cutter for gauged porcelain tile panels – which are able to deal with any kind of porcelain stoneware, ceramic or glass – the operator is able to select the most suitable tool according to the type of material, its consistency/compactness or the desired surface finishing. By combining the innovation represented by Revolution 3WD with the operator’s experience and the advice of Montolit technicians, it is possible to obtain a precise, state-of-the-art cut with a better finishing.

The new Montolit FL3 tile cutter for gauged porcelain tile panels also features three modular aluminum guide bars, each 120 cm long. These are positioned directly on the slab to be cut and must not be fixed in any way: the grip is obtained through the silicone strips placed on the contact surface and this increases with increasing pressure exerted on the slider carriage. Consequently, the use of clamps or suction cups is completely unnecessary: the innovative solution proposed by Montolit is patented and is recognized internationally.

In addition, the incision operation is facilitated by the ergonomic handle that allows the operator to apply a controlled and therefore always optimal pressure. At the end of the operation, thanks to the supplied pliers that enclose a double splitting system, the separation is carried out along the traced line.

In short, the new Montolit FL3 tile cutter for gauged porcelain tile panels turns out to be a professional, intuitive, easy, fast and above all an extremely performing tool.
