Electric tile saw
Electric tile cutting saws
With a proven experience of over 30 years in the tile cutting sector, Brevetti Montolit Spa manufactures and sells worldwide a complete range of electric tile cutting saws for professional use.
Over the years, Montolit’s structure has allowed to test different electric tile cutting solutions, from their design up to the production of the first prototypes of diamond tools for cutting and drilling any type of tile. Today, Montolit’s catalog is one of the most complete ones on the market, with electric tile cutting solutions for almost every type of operation to be performed with or on stoneware.
Electric tile cutters for every material
The need for an electric tile cutter comes from the continuous evolution of materials used in tile setting.
From natural to artificial tiles, this change also allowed the creation of increasingly appealing tiles from an aesthetical standpoint, which are therefore sought after by engineers and architects. These new materials are resistant to water, weather conditions, temperatures, trampling and abrasion, however they are also very compact and challenging to work with.
As an answer to these challenges that tile setters find themselves dealing with, Montolit’s technicians have developed since the 1980’s a wide range of tile cutting saws and cutters, thanks to which the company has acquired a leading status in the fascinating world of diamond tools.
From diamond blades to the machines on which they are used, the step was short and almost mandatory, and this is how the first Montolit electric tile cutter was born.

6 reasons why you should choose Montolit wet saw tile cutters
One of the fastest electric tile cutting saw currently available
The structure and the engine of our electric wet cutter are designed to achieve maximum cutting speed. Along with a good engine, our best diamond blade is assembled and included on each of our wet saw tile cutters. To have a top-quality diamond blade on your wet tile cutter is vital. We decided to have it as a standard diamond wet blade.
Effortless cutting of extremely hard and thick porcelain tiles
The levers of our water tile cutter are engineered to reduce the human power needed to pull the handle towards you and consequently to the diamond blade toward the tile. Furthermore, as mentioned above, Montolit water tile cutters have a top performing blade assembled, which is key to smooth the cutting process. One of the goals of our engineers was to reduce the worker’s effort needed while working with our water tile cutters.
Consistency in performance
Consistency of performance is a vital factor for a professional tile setter. It is important to have the same output from the beginning till the end of the day and from the first to the last day of life of our water tile saw. For these reasons, Montolit decided to build its electric wet tile saw paying attention to details and above all to the main structure of the wet saw. All the joints, for example, are extremely strong, durable and accurate, and they keep the same performance throughout the years.
Top performance with stone materials, porcelain, ceramics and even glass
With a Montolit electric tile cutter you can switch from cutting glass to cutting marble or porcelain keeping the same performance. Obviously, it is extremely important to use the proper blade if you are cutting stone materials with extremely different density and structure. Each Montolit wet tile saw comes with a blade able to cut any type of porcelain tile, even the hardest ones. In addition, Montolit developed an extensive line of professional diamond blades useful while using our electric wet saw (and other manufacturers wet tile saw) with different types of materials (mosaic, glass tiles, thick porcelain, slim porcelain panels, standard ceramic, glazed or vitrified tiles, concrete slabs, marble or granite, fiberglass and much more).
Montolit electric tile cutting saws are extremely silent
At Montolit, we strongly believe in quality of life, the life or our machines’ users (tilers or builders) as well as the quality of life of the people around the wet saw operator (homeowners and neighbors). Usually electric tile cutting saws are quite noisy while running. In order to overcome this common issue, Montolit wet tile cutters have been designed to be one of the most silent wet saws currently available on the market. This feature improves the quality of life, it reduces or prevents hearing problems, and it is respectful towards other people.
Vibrations are one of the issues involved in using an electric tile cutting saw. Our engineers worked hard designing our electric tile cutters in order to reduce the vibrations. Special joints, good rubber, top quality blades, specific wet saw structure, all together help to minimize vibrations transferred from the saw to the human body. Again, this effort aims at improving the quality of life of Montolit wet tile saws users.
