One of the most spectacular and complex outdoor installation of Porcelanosa porcelain slabs (120+ inches / 3+ meters) in North America
The photos depict large format tile laying operations on outdoor surfaces involving many difficult operations.
The giant porcelain tiles show complex cuts around the windows and, in addition, the laying operations were performed on the outside walls of the second floor of this house.
Laying these large porcelain slabs was possible thanks to the unique skills of the team of expert tilers combined with the use of appropriate tiling tools.
Laying these Porcelanosa large format tiles was possible using the Montolit Superstick handling system. This adjustable system adapts to the geometry of each specific tile by moving its suction cups and placing them in the best position. Furthermore, the handling of the cut and ready to set tiles was facilitated by the rigidity and flatness of this system since it is made of steel and (differently from aluminium) it provides a very resistant holding that does not “bend” the tile, thus reducing the risk of breaking it.
