System for handling large size porcelain tiles – pictures show porcelain tiles made by Savoia Canada – Graniti Fiandre, Iris Group, in use in a Vancouver (Canada) construction site
The photos show the adjustable movement system Montolit Superstick used for handling and laying large format porcelain tiles.
The Superstick Montolit system is a high-performance handling system which allows to move, with maximum safety, all types of new generation porcelain slabs and large format tiles. This product is equipped with the best suction cups currently available on the market that provide high strength suction over time even on surfaces which are not perfectly smooth. Thanks to these special suction cups the contractor may perform a number of specific activities with large format porcelain tiles (handling, installation, application of adhesives) without worrying about the possibility that the slab would unexpectedly be detached.
Superstick is a versatile handling system that adapts to different sizes and types of porcelain tiles with the possibility to apply 4 to 8+ suction cups depending on the specific needs according to the type of porcelain slabs you are laying.
Thanks to its special design, Superstick is especially suitable for tile setting on the outdoor walls of a building as well as handling and moving porcelain slabs inside elevators even if of reduced size.
Superstick is made of high strength tubular steel and it allows handling of both large format thin porcelain tiles or, in its light version Stick, to handle porcelain tiles of 24 “x 24” with a thickness of 3/4 inches.
